Job Overview

As a Claims Insights Consultant, you will be working closely with customers and other stakeholders to provide expert claims insights and case coordination.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work within set timeframes to deliver exceptional support to our customers.

Key responsibilities include establishing relationships with external customers, screening incoming referrals, coordinating case conferences, and providing comprehensive case coordination.

Additionally, you will collaborate with Medical Advisors on referral allocation, scheduling, and report progress to maintain visibility on Medical Advisor caseload and capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with customers to understand their referral requirements and critical issues.
  • Screen incoming referrals to ensure relevant medical documentation is present, summarise key clinical issues, and allocate cases to Medical Advisors based on available information.
  • Coordinate case conferences involving Medical Advisors, customers, and other stakeholders within agreed timeframes, and attend conferences as required.
  • Provide comprehensive case coordination, ensuring timely delivery of results and maintaining regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Medical Advisors on referral allocation, scheduling, and report progress to maintain visibility on Medical Advisor caseload and capacity.
  • Issue finalised reports and invoices via designated systems, gather customer feedback to drive continuous service improvement, and assist in new Medical Advisor onboarding.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in relationship/account management, particularly in personal injury, insurance, or healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated claims management and/or case management expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work within set timeframes.
  • Capacity to apply personal injury knowledge when reviewing referrals to identify key issues and appropriately assign cases.
  • Current satisfactory Police Clearance, Working with Children check, and drivers licence.
  • Desirable: experience and sound knowledge of Medical and Allied Health Services.
