We are seeking a skilled Professional with extensive experience in Protection Systems to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers across Australia.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years' experience working with Protection Systems. You will be required to partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and training to ensure seamless product adoption.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the technical authority on protection relay portfolio across Australia
- Partner with sales, presales, and channel teams to deliver best-in-class solutions to customers
- Provide technical support, design consultation, and compliance guidance for pre-sales and tender opportunities
- Lead technical training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Interpret single-line diagrams, coordinate protection studies, and develop optimized relay settings
- Support solution proposals with accurate, well-documented technical material
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience in protection systems, ideally in the Australian market
- Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and Australian protection standards
- Practical experience with Schneider Electric protection relays (or equivalent platforms)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and system design layouts
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to align technical solutions with customer needs, support value-based selling and contribute to commercial success
