Job Title

Bakery Assistant

This is a great opportunity to join our team as a Bakery Assistant. We are looking for a positive, energetic person to work in our Day Production Team.

The role involves food safety, ingredient preparation and handling, food assembly/production line work, working with machinery, stock handling and rotation.

We take care of breakfast, lunch and morning tea for workers, direct to their workplaces from Monday to Friday, offering great service and a wide variety of healthy choices.

You will work 3-5 shifts per week, with some flexibility available to support work-life balance. Longer shifts are available to those showing commitment and reliability.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently. You must be able to competently lift 15 - 25kg frequently and work in a cool room environment (below 3-8 degrees).

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of correct food handling procedures and be able to learn quickly and work independently, while being a dedicated team player.

Your Responsibilities
  • Fully understand and adhere to all food safety standards and protocols
  • Lift, carry and move stock and ingredients around the warehouse
  • Prepare ingredients and produce food products according to recipes and production plans
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is able to work well in a team environment. You must be reliable and available to work a minimum of 3-5 shifts per week between the hours of 4am - 12pm.
