About the Role

As the Social Engagement Coordinator, you'll drive resident participation in social, recreational, and cultural activities. You'll lead mental health and wellbeing programs, empowering residents' choices and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead activities that meet residents' social and recreational needs, promoting independence and quality of life
  • Assess and document program effectiveness by tracking residents' progress and adapting programs as needed

Requirements

  • CertIII in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent
  • Senior First Aid Certificate essential
  • Previous experience in aged or community care settings
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes

Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience
