We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving exceptional customer service and operational excellence in our store.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced sales-driven atmosphere.
Responsibilities:- Meet individual sales targets and support and drive store targets as set and outlined in business goals. Collaborate with the store team and management to review strategies to increase sales and meet targets.
- Ensure that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to support management in ordering appropriate stock levels. Perform regular stocktake to ensure inventory data is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain and implement the aesthetic and appearance of the store in line with brand guidelines.
- Assist the Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and attract customers to the store.
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, and annual KPIs.
- Assist the Store Manager to evaluate individuals' performance and provide input into the hiring and training needs.
- Support the Store Manager to ensure consistency within the Retail Team; inspire and encourage employees to ensure a high level of morale.
We look for passionate and motivated team players who are able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced sales-driven environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong selling skills, ideally with experience in a boutique or one-on-one sales environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to initiate contact and speak clearly with customers.
- A positive attitude and a love for being part of a successful team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Experience in training and developing staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Experience in resolving conflicts among staff and handling difficult customer situations.
- Minimum of 4 years retail store experience.
