Depot Manager Position

You will be working at our established depot, handling fresh produce and international import/exports.

About the Role
  • Leading a team of 120 employees, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Developing and maintaining your understanding of the produce sector, including import and export.
  • Professionally leading complex environments, collaborating with the team to maximise linehaul capacity.
  • Managing performance, objective setting, and profit management.
  • Developing good working relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication and commitment delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Established experience in a senior leadership role, ideally in transport, produce, or import/export.
  • Demonstrated exposure to the import and export industry, preferably within produce.
  • Experience managing organisational finances and implementing cost-effective options.
  • A highly motivated leadership style, leading by example.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level reasoning, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Professional presentation and ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce.
