Job Description

Full-time Industrial Engineering Technologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Technologist to join our team at 11 Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing processes and systems related to our air conditioning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize industrial processes for air conditioning systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new and existing processes.
  • Engineering Analysis: Analyze engineering specifications, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Productivity and Quality: Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering support and troubleshooting expertise for air conditioning systems and related equipment.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation.
  • Standards and Policies: Create standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
  • Financial Planning: Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient.
  • Quality Control: Enact quality control procedures to resolve HVAC service problems or minimize costs.
  • Project Management: Manage projects using engineering concepts from beginning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
  • Customer Service: Work with customers and management to develop standards for installations, servicing, and maintenance.
  • Service Planning: Design control systems to coordinate activities and service planning to ensure that services meet quality standards.
  • Personnel Management: Examine and determine personnel requirements.
  • Communication: Confer with clients about service specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about equipment capabilities, and staff about the status of projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Engineering Technologist or similar role, preferably in the air conditioning or HVAC industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Remuneration:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
