We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Media Adviser to join our team at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA). Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic communications and media plans to support the achievement of government priorities and departmental objectives.
- Provide expert advice on communications and media channels and processes to support the delivery of effective communications and media solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement communications and media campaigns that promote the department's objectives and priorities.
- Manage and maintain relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and other key partners to ensure effective communications and media coverage.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the department's policies, programs, and initiatives to provide expert advice on communications and media matters.
- Minimum three years' experience in communications, media, and marketing.
- Contemporary knowledge of strategic communications and media channels and processes.
- Sound knowledge of and experience working in government would be desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
