Job Overview:

The role of a Passenger Ropeway Maintenance Technician is pivotal to the upkeep of Thredbo Resort's infrastructure. As part of the Mechanical Maintenance Team, this position focuses on maintaining passenger ropeway components and assisting with maintenance tasks throughout the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain passenger ropeway components and assist in maintenance tasks
  • Work in accordance with the published KT Engineering or Hotel Maintenance work schedule
  • Assist with various maintenance tasks to ensure that Thredbo's infrastructure meets requirements
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions (including wind and snow)

Requirements:

  • A current White Card
  • High level of competence in the use of hand and power tools, including grinders, impact drivers, drills, and similar equipment
  • Physically fit, comfortable working at heights, capable of climbing, manual handling of loads and equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods
