Job Title: Bitumen Tanker Maintenance Technician
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Bitumen Tanker Maintenance Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing bitumen tankers, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with standards. Key responsibilities include routine inspections, diagnosing faults, preventative maintenance on systems like burners, pumps, valves, and hydraulics, maintaining heating systems, welding and fabrication repairs, calibrating controls, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.
Key Requirements:
- Mechanical and hydraulic system knowledge
- Experience with burner systems and pipework
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Understanding of hazardous materials handling (especially hot bitumen)
- Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance
