Group Painter - Aged Care Homes

This role is a key part of our maintenance team and involves performing routine paint touch up tasks, paint projects and ensuring that the homes present their best in regard to painting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify where touch up painting needs to be completed.
  • Carry out reviews to the facility's infrastructure to program and complete painting through our Aged Care homes.
  • Ensure that the facility complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, accessibility, and building codes.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, water leaks, or other urgent issues, to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety of residents and staff.
  • Manage and maintain equipment relating to this role to ensure they are properly functioning and safe.
Requirements:
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one).
  • Trade Certification as a Painter is preferred.
  • A resident-centric mindset which flows through to all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to problem solve and 'think on your feet'.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn and desire to continuously develop as a result from feedback provided by residents and managers.

We are looking for someone who can perform daily tasks safely without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents. To be successful in this position you will need to hold a current NDIS clearance and/or be happy to apply.
