Early Childhood Educator Trainee

As a trainee educator, you will play a pivotal role in giving children the best possible start to their educational journey. With the support of your team and centre leadership, you will be empowered to develop your skills whilst working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and organisational policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the education program
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
  • Participate in a professional and positive work culture
To Be Eligible for a Traineeship
  • Hold no prior Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years
  • Meet the following requirements: willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, permanent right to work in Australia, excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to work well individually and as part of a team, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, interest in early years education, Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one), proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or be willing to receive)
