About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team, focusing on our upcoming solar projects. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a knack for managing complex projects and driving them to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Taking charge of complex projects or handling multiple projects at once, ensuring they are executed smoothly and profitably.
  • Overseeing every step of our solar PV projects, from initial financial close to final commissioning and energisation.
  • Leading, guiding, and motivating a high-performing project team to ensure we meet all project requirements and maintain our commitment to excellence.
  • Identifying innovative and cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Buidling and managing a capable project team, establishing effective processes to keep everything aligned with our objectives and timelines.
  • E nsuring our projects adhere to all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Working closely with other departments to foster a culture of collaboration and shared success.

The salary for this role is around $150,000 per annum, plus benefits such as novated leasing, lifestyle discounts, and work-life balance. We offer a range of benefits that will make your career and personal life easier and more enjoyable.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of solid project management experience in the Australian power, energy, or construction industries.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence across all levels.
