Operations Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, promote safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Support labor resources to meet workload forecasts and department objectives daily, weekly, monthly
  • Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and company objectives
  • Lead, motivate and engage staff through effective people management processes and practices, building their capability to achieve team and individual objectives
  • Use effective communication techniques which encourage open and honest communications and constant information flow
  • Implement continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant Company policies and procedures and promote the same amongst teams
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop the functionality of live fleet allocation for use within the business
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) legislation
  • Complete reports and adhere to standards as directed
  • Manage staff including mentoring, disciplinary processes and any grievance in line with Company standards
  • Provide high-level customer service at all times when dealing with office staff, internal customers and clients while proactively representing the company
  • Work within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in all areas of role
  • Demonstrate inclusive behavior and show respect for diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, natural leader and constant motivator
  • Computer literate with developed MS Suite skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • IT savvy with ability to operate internal systems and identify opportunities to improve utilization
  • Solid understanding of HSE and CoR legislation
  • Possess supportive team values and strong leadership qualities
  • Must have flexible attitude with adaptability in a changing pressurized environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills with commitment to maintaining and exceeding company standards
  • Conduct all work with integrity and confidentiality
