Ecologist Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled ecologist to join our team in Perth. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ecological advice and services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field surveys and collect ecological data.
  • Interpret and apply environmental legislation to projects across various sectors.
  • Develop technical reports detailing the outcomes of field survey programs and implications for environmental impact assessment and management.
  • Assist in preparing tenders and proposals.
  • Integrate your technical work into multidisciplinary assessments and project teams.
  • Travel to remote areas to conduct field survey programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years' experience in an ecological role in the environmental consulting sector or an equivalent role in Government.
  • Experience in undertaking flora and fauna field surveys and monitoring programs.
  • Good knowledge of Western Australian flora and fauna.
  • Mature report writing and computer skills.
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
