Lead Vascular Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Lead Vascular Nurse Specialist. This is a key role that will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our vascular services.

Job Description:

  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the delivery of vascular care.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in surgical or perioperative nursing, preferably in a vascular setting.
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
