Urgent Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate registered nurse to join our dynamic casual bank team at various metropolitan and regional locations.

  • Triage patients, conduct comprehensive nursing triage, and act promptly for any patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration.
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the urgent care environment, and deliver high-quality person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners.
  • Provide essential health education to patients, complete all documentation accurately and promptly, and assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registered nurse.
  • Previous experience in triage in an emergency department, remote nursing, or urgent care setting, preferably 1 year minimum.
  • Ability to work independently and delegate when necessary, strong communication skills both verbal and written, and a high level of critical thinking.
