Graduate Occupational Therapists play a vital role in rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes within multidisciplinary teams. At our organization, you will be part of a collaborative environment that fosters growth and development.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing case management with manageable caseloads supported by Rehabilitation Assistants.
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
- Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees.
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
- Conducting assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
- Delivering virtual reality pain education programs.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Full Professional Registration with relevant authorities or eligibility to apply.
- Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy.
- Strong time management skills.
- A valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
