Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist and Rehabilitation Physician to join our team at Mercy Health.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position available starting September 2024 to February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient consulting services, supporting our team of physicians to care for a variety of neurological presentations.

Expertise in managing stroke is essential for this role. The successful candidate will also be required to have full FRACP recognition in the appropriate subspecialty at time of commencement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care and management
  • Working collaboratively with our team of physicians to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Current or acquired by the start date recognition as Specialist with RACP and AHPRA (not requiring supervision)
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management
