About the Opportunity

Mercy Hospitals Victoria Ltd invites applications for Neurologists and Rehabilitation Physicians to join our service, in Permanent Part-Time positions available.

The roles are inpatient and outpatient consulting, supporting our team of physicians to care for a variety of neurological presentations. Expertise in managing stroke is essential to this role. Full recognition as a Specialist with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) at time of commencement is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with our team of physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements
  • Current or acquired by the start date recognition as a Specialist with RACP and AHPRA.
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
