About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our Newcastle Clinic, NSW, on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of services, including:

  • High-level nursing skills to work autonomously
  • Patient triage and assessment
  • Administration of vaccinations and travel consultations
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
  • Maintenance and sterilization of equipment
  • Compliance with Department of Health and Human Services protocols
  • General administration duties
  • Phlebotomy services
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and services
  • Working collaboratively with the practice team to achieve clinical and operational goals
  • Developing and implementing effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification
  • Certificate in Phlebotomy
  • Current Immunisation Certificate (desirable)
  • Current Working With Children Check
