Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced corporate affairs professional to manage our company's media relations and develop strategic communications plans that support business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies to drive brand awareness and reputation management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial and consumer journalists, industry publications, and key media outlets.
  • Create high-quality content, including media releases, op-eds, speeches, briefing documents, and press kits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and compliant messaging across all channels.
  • Monitor media coverage, regulatory developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities and manage reputational risks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or journalism, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of published work or media coverage.
  • A strong network of media contacts and a proven track record of successful story pitching.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Confident communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
