Join Our Team of Dedicated Early Childhood Professionals

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our team at SmartPlay. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position available for 30-75 hours per fortnight. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the play-based, child-directed educational program as part of SmartPlay Early Learners. Your primary goal will be to provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to grow and develop within an enriched curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the educational program in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) standards.
  • Lead educators to provide a high-quality educational experience for children.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to children's education.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma certification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Experience and knowledge of NQF, NQS and EYLF.
