Job Overview

The Principal Consultant role bridges the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Serving as a Workday Finance expert with extensive knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Reinforcing organizational policies and procedures to others.
  • Providing strategic direction for project workstreams and making informed decisions regarding tactical direction.
  • Identifying dependencies and facilitating collaboration between different workstreams within a project.
  • Leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of other Consultants within their projects.
  • Expected to be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Core Financials, Procurement, Projects, and Expenses area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Workday Finance and Procurement or any other planning tool implementation.
  • 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting area. Cloud ERP experience is beneficial.
  • Workday Adaptive Financials experience is advantageous.
  • Experience working with other financial ERP systems like SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP Cloud, or any other tool will be considered.
  • Background in financial or supply chain roles.
  • Data-driven and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
