About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, housekeeping, and meal planning
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs and goals of each person
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a high level of care and support
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and autonomy

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a home-care or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and their families
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of individuals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
