We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) in Balgowlah, Northern Beaches. As a specialist hospital, we provide veterinary excellence in medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, dermatology, and oncology.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of veterinary nursing practices. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to take their skills to the next level and progress their careers within a leading specialist hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, working closely with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding results
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication
  • Perform day-to-day clinical nurse duties, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
Requirements
  • Completed Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a qualified nurse
  • Previous experience in an Emergency Hospital or Specialist clinic is highly regarded but not essential
