As a member of the Executive Committee, you will drive success across teaching, research, and community engagement, influencing the future of higher education in Queensland and beyond.

This role requires strategic foresight and practical impact, with the ability to deliver on UniSC's vision: create a better tomorrow.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change agenda that strengthens UniSC's regional, national, and global positioning.
  • Lead the COO portfolio to provide contemporary, efficient, and responsive services that enable academic achievement and student success.
  • Drive transformation and sustainability through the development of simple, scalable, and future-ready systems, processes, and infrastructure.
About the Role

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of functions that underpin UniSC's ability to deliver on its vision.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • University Planning: developing strategic plans that align with UniSC's mission and vision.
  • Campus Development: overseeing the design and delivery of campus facilities that support teaching, research, and community engagement.
  • Digital and Technology Services: providing innovative and responsive IT solutions that enhance the student experience.
  • People and Culture: fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that supports staff well-being and development.
  • Insights and Analytics: providing data-driven insights that inform decision-making and drive business improvement.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
