Communications Expertise Position

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and efficiency of the aviation industry by providing technical leadership and engineering expertise in the communications domain.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a trusted technology advisor, developing technical plans, and monitoring progress to ensure successful outcomes.
- Key responsibilities include performing systems engineering tasks in line with safety and system management policies, supporting projects to deliver against specified requirements, and ensuring system integrity.
- The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (e.g., RPEQ).
- Significant experience in applying systems engineering processes to complex systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of VHF communications, systems engineering, and air traffic management systems.
Benefits:
- 12 months with potential for extension.
