Cyber Security Expert

Main Responsibilities:
  • Pioneer cyber security advancements from the frontlines.
Essential Experience:
  • Cyber Security focused roles with system hardening across diverse systems.
  • Awareness and experience of ASD Essential 8 compliance.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, frameworks and relevant laws such as ISO:27001, NISTSP800-53, GDPR, SOCI Act.
  • Cyber security incident investigation and remediation, including forensic data collection.
  • Variety of Identity and Access Management platforms including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Authenticator, Okta, Ping ID etc.
  • Cyber security monitoring and logging configurations to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOC).
Key Knowledge:
  • Cybersecurity principles, best practices and technologies, including encryption, access control, intrusion detection/prevention systems, penetration testing, threat intelligence and incident response procedures.
  • Virtualisation and Containerisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT.
