Cyber Security Engineer Role

As a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining robust security solutions to safeguard our information assets.

Your responsibilities will include implementing enterprise security solutions aligned with industry frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Essential Eight, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premise environments, conducting security risk assessments for new and existing platforms, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner.

You will work collaboratively with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party partners to deliver secure, compliant, and resilient solutions that meet the organization's risk management and security strategies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with industry standards
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premise environments
  • Conduct security risk assessments for new and existing platforms
  • Respond to security incidents in a timely manner

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Security, or a related field
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CEH, Microsoft Security Suite
  • 3+ years' experience in a cyber security engineering or related role
