Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in commercial construction project management to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will assist in the safe, profitable, and timely management of construction projects.

  • Manage project documentation, update project progress, and assist in managing subcontracts and variations.
  • Support cash flow management by preparing cost reports, forecasts, and processing subcontractor and supplier invoices.
  • Collect, submit, and distribute RFI documents, take meeting minutes, and liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure effective communication and positive relationships.
  • Contribute to creating a safe work environment, conduct EHSQ audits, and monitor the quality of work to ensure high standards are met.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the project delivery system and contribute to the team's success.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within the commercial construction industry.
  • A bachelor degree or diploma in civil engineering or building and construction.
  • Basic knowledge of head contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience with industry-specific software such as Procore is highly regarded.
  • The ability to interpret specifications and drawings for accuracy.
