We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT. As the Event Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and developing internal and external event opportunities and activities in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop business cases and project plans for events, including date, theme, volunteers/staff required, locations, and event logistics.
- Identify and secure donations of prizes and goods from organizations to generate fundraising revenue through raffles and live/silent auctions at RFDS SA/NT major events.
- Incorporate and develop new fundraising initiatives to enhance the current portfolio of events.
- Collaborate with RFDS SA/NT team members, venue, infrastructure, and other third-party providers to effectively plan and deliver successful RFDS SA/NT events.
- Stay current and ahead of the curve on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who possesses:
- Proven experience in delivering events and achieving fundraising targets.
- Strong business networking capability and professionally presented.
- Ability to work effectively and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of people within the community.
- Proficiency in using online fundraising platforms and event management systems.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, fundraising, or public relations.
- 5 years of proven event management experience.
- Current and valid driver's license issued from an Australian State or Territory.
- Demonstrated partnership/relationship management skills.
