Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of power stations and supporting facilities.

  • To deliver mechanical engineering design and documentation that ensures compliance with Australian standards.
  • To collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • To provide technical input for the design and development of new power stations and associated facilities.
  • To support clients with the installation of generators and equipment on remote sites.
  • To monitor and improve site processes focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • To select, procure, and oversee the installation of mechanical equipment.
  • To provide operational advice for long-term maintenance and performance optimization.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering suitable for Engineers Australia membership.
  • Knowledge of fuel gas systems, compressed air, pumping and filtration, and engine systems.
  • At least 3 years' experience in mechanical engineering within a commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Strong understanding of HSE systems and safety standards.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Ability to work on remote site projects when required.
  • National Police Certificate and Medical Clearance.
  • Chartered status with Engineers Australia.
  • Experience with the Pronto ERP system.
  • White card certification.
