Job Opportunity

Seeking an experienced heritage professional to join our team in delivering high-quality services and empowering sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Heritage Impact Statements, Cultural Heritage Management Plans, and due diligence assessments.
  • Conduct Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments through field surveys, stakeholder consultation, and reporting.
  • Engage with Traditional Owner groups, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic advice on heritage compliance in NSW.
  • Review and quality control technical reports and proposals, including processes.
  • Produce accurate and complex technical deliverables, analysis, and reports.
  • Collaborate with authors and co-authors on abstracts, papers, presentations for industry-specific events or conferences.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues in heritage investigations and reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Honours degree or equivalent in Archaeology, Heritage Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 9 years of experience in heritage consulting, focusing on renewables or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of NSW heritage legislation and approvals processes.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting fieldwork and stakeholder consultation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence.
