Are you looking for a career in the auto glass industry? O'Brien Glass have an exciting opportunity for you to begin your new career as an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter at our Wagga Wagga Service Centre.

This is an on-the-job learning experience with a very supportive team and management. You will complete the Apprenticeship within 2-3 years and receive the full qualification from the Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

You will be paid on competency and not on tenure, meaning you could be paid Level 5 after 2 years but not receive your certification. We are looking for someone who is willing to stay employed after completing their Apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter, you will undergo the O'Brien Cert III in Automotive Glazing through our O'Brien Auto Technician Skills Development Program. This program is designed to develop Auto Technician capabilities to the level required to repair and replace glass on any type of motor vehicle to Australian standards.

You will learn how to complete windscreen re-calibrations for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), undertake glass chip repairs, and deliver an excellent experience to our customers. You will also be required to deliver the service in a professional and timely manner.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable dealing with customers face to face and keeping them engaged. You must have a valid and current driver's licence, be able to drive automatic and manual vehicles, and have a reliable and positive attitude. Retail or automotive knowledge or experience is an advantage but not required.

We offer flexible rostering with options for penalties and overtime, ongoing incentive programs and recognition, and ongoing learning and development during and after your Apprenticeship. We also provide tools and uniform.
