We are seeking a qualified Film Industry Entry-Level Professional to support our production team.

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the film industry and want to gain hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.

The Film Industry Entry-Level Professional will assist in various aspects of film production, including set preparation, coordinating with crew members, and distributing scripts and call sheets.

The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.

We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, resourceful, and able to think on their feet.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in set preparation, including arranging lights, props, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with costume designers, directors, camera operators, and other crew members.
  • Distribute daily paperwork, such as scripts and call sheets.
  • Escort actors around the filming area and coordinate with extras.
  • Conduct crowd control by directing pedestrians away from filming and securing sets.
  • Act as a runner, distributing messages or items within the film crew and cast.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and completing paperwork.
  • Undertake errands as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production role or a passion for the film industry.
  • Knowledge of industry terminology is an asset.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Physical strength and stamina.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A high school diploma or relevant training is an advantage.
