Senior Machine Learning/MLOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning/MLOps Engineer to join our team at BlueWing Ventures, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models for autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Design and Development of Machine Learning Models: Develop and implement machine learning models for perception and data pipelines for autonomous systems across multiple sensor modalities.
- Manage the Machine Learning Lifecycle: Develop software to manage and automate the machine learning lifecycle, including data management, pipelining, labeling, and training.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and systems engineers to ensure effective system integration and testing.
- Develop Tools and Processes: Develop tools and processes for machine learning in a classified environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Field: Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Senior Role Experience: Experience in a senior role with the delivery of a production-grade software system with a mature machine learning component.
- ML Operations Experience: Experience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of ML operations, including data acquisition, labeling, data curation, pipeline management, continuous integration, model versioning, and monitoring.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to define and implement robust validation and verification strategies.
- Public Sector Experience: Experience with the delivery of capability with a public sector customer.
- Workflow Management Tools: Experience with workflow management tools such as Flyte, Airflow, and Kubeflow.
- Deep Learning Frameworks: Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Edge ML Applications: Experience with edge ML applications.
- Inference Engines: Experience with inference engines such as TensorRT.
