Operational Excellence Specialist

Maintaining and bringing innovation to the production environment of our cloud-based SaaS product on Microsoft Azure is a critical operational function that requires an Operational Excellence Specialist.

  • Support daily operations of production cloud environments on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Improve monitoring, stability, and reliability of the platform through effective problem-solving and solution implementation.
  • Be responsible for incident response, from initial detection to resolution, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Identify and execute automation opportunities, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Manage automated and manual deployments, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • VM maintenance, upgrading, hardening, and patching are essential responsibilities to maintain a secure and stable environment.
  • Document process improvements and help identify and create new procedures to enhance operations.
  • Manage 2nd and 3rd level service requests, providing exceptional support and expertise.
Requirements
  • A degree or tertiary qualification in IT, networking, computer science, or equivalent is necessary for this role.
  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience in an operations/infrastructure or equivalent role is required, showcasing expertise and capability.
