As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of heavy diesel products. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair engines, as well as disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products within standard repair time to ensure quality workmanship.
- Diagnose and repair engines using required tools and service publications.
- Disassemble and assemble engines or power generators following guidelines to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Inspect and replace parts and components following re-use guidelines to minimize customers' cost of ownership.
- Perform progressive damage checks to restore equipment to pre-failure condition.
- Apprentice-trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent qualification.
- Basic level of workshop or field service experience required.
- Knowledge of engine systems, including internal and external electrical and mechanical systems.
- Heavy Vehicle Experience preferred.
- HR License preferred.
- Full-time position with 38 hours per week.
- Overtime as required, with penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours.
- Provision of all safety equipment, PPE, and uniforms.
- Domestic relocation opportunities may be available.
- Local valid driver's license required.

- Engine Systems Interactions - Analyzes interactions of internal and external systems by applying tools and service publications.
- Product Repair and Maintenance - Repairs and maintains mechanical/electrical products following guidelines to ensure quality workmanship.
- Service Documentation - Creates and verifies customer information, captures specific data using service tools, and documents required information in the service management system.
- Technical Escalation - Elevates technical issues to higher levels of expertise, balancing timeliness with investigation efforts.
- Values differences - Recognizes the value of diverse perspectives and cultures.
