Role Overview:
The Environmental Superintendent role at Dugald River Mine is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to drive sustainability and environmental excellence in a dynamic mining environment.
About Us:
Dugald River Mine, one of the world's top 10 Zinc mine operations, has been producing zinc concentrate since 2017. Our commitment to a low-carbon future includes the Dugald River Solar Farm, which supplies a third of the mine's power and reduces emissions by 33%.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance management and environmental monitoring to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations and company requirements.
- Leading and developing a team of environmental professionals to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating environmental risks through proactive sustainable controls.
- Engaging and overseeing environmental contract and contractor management to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.
What We Offer:
This role comes with a competitive salary package, annual bonus, and generous local allowances for employees living in Cloncurry or Mt Isa. On-site accommodation and meal service are provided, along with access to communal facilities, including a gym, tennis court, swimming pool, and entertainment area.
Salary Information:
We estimate this role to come with an annual salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000, depending on experience.
