Academic Mentor

Are you passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on students' lives?

As an academic mentor, you will provide personalised one-on-one guidance to students at a school level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to address individual learning needs.
  • Assess students' progress and adjust mentoring techniques accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians to provide updates on students' performance.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate.
  • Commendable Year 12 grades.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, flexible, and able to adapt mentoring methods to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in tutoring or mentoring will be looked upon positively.
  • Current or past university student.
