Part-time Community Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team of part-time Community Care Workers. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in delivering high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

The role involves working with a range of clients, providing domestic assistance, personal care, transportation, and respite and social support. You will be trained on all aspects of the job, including shopping, meal preparation, and household management.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working up to 30 hours per week. Shifts are available Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including vacuuming, mopping, changing sheets, and surface cleaning of living areas
  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Transporting clients to and from appointments in the community
  • Providing respite and social support to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A great attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid SA Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Full Australian Working Rights and an AU/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check and NDIS Workers Check
  • Regular availability and flexibility to work varied shifts
