Occupational Health Nurse Role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in a full-time permanent capacity. They will deliver high-quality medical assessments, pre-employment checks, and workplace health services to various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-employment/health assessments, including functional capacity assessments, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks.
  • Perform audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals.
  • Maintain accurate health records and work with the team to finalise compliant assessments.
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders, including doctors and other specialised health professionals, to deliver a streamlined health assessment service.
  • Provide a client-centric approach to health assessments and support in ongoing review and development of best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in occupational health, workplace assessments, or a clinical background in a similar setting is desirable but not essential as training is available.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent administration and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
