About the Role

We are seeking a senior risk governance and line 1 leader to drive our Accountability Regime at BOQ Group. As a key member of our team, you will implement strong governance practices and strengthen operational resilience and risk culture throughout the P&C division.

You will lead a small team to improve risk practice, embed strong governance, and provide opportunities for growth and development across the group.

Your expertise will be crucial in delivering our BEAR/FAR program, ensuring its successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BOQ Group's Accountability Regime program and P&C's Line 1 risk and governance function.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve risk practice and governance.
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

About You

We seek a qualified banking and finance professional with experience in risk, compliance, or governance. Strong leadership capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Your critical thinking, technical capabilities, and problem-solving abilities will be relied upon to work through complex issues and provide solutions for the group.
