About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Wonthaggi. As a key member of our Mobile Patient Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide interventions as needed during on-road transport
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and treatment, adhering to RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Assess the effectiveness of interventions and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or a related field (desirable)
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive in various traffic conditions
  • Availability to work a 7-day, 24-hour roster
