Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team as a Culinary Operations Manager for our Residential Care site. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of food operations, including food safety, preparation, and service, as well as menu planning and catering to modified diets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of food operations, including food safety, preparation, and service
  • Manage food ordering, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training and development opportunities
  • Partner with residents and families to create an enjoyable dining experience
  • Plan and prepare special meals and cater to dietary requirements
  • Maintain Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Demonstrated compassion and empathy for residents and their families
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in menu planning and catering to modified diets
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Certification
  • Australian Working Rights
