Green Space Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Green Space Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our council-controlled roadsides and open spaces are well-maintained and enhanced.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a keen eye for detail.

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
