Exercise Physiologist Role OverviewThis role is dedicated to safely prescribing and supervising exercise and strength training for clients with diverse health and medical needs, including those impacted by chronic disease and those undertaking injury rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will combine traditional exercise physiology methods with education on the benefits of strength training for prevention and treatment of health and medical conditions, empowering clients to restore strength and confidence and enabling them to continue enjoying their favourite activities.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver exercise programs aimed at prevention and recovery to enhance overall health and long-term wellbeing
- Conduct physiological assessments (body composition, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and prescribe exercise for group or individual sessions
- Use objective measures, including strength testing and patient-reported outcomes, to guide clinical decisions
- Establish relationships with local Allied Health professionals
- Manage and build a caseload of individual and group sessions
- Deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards
To be considered for this role, you will require:
- A recognised Bachelor or Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology Degree
- Current ESSA registration
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Active and current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- First Aid Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
