Chief Financial Operations Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage our client's financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and is looking to further develop their accounting and administration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day financial functions and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Manage trust accounts, term deposits, and prepare audit requirements
  • Oversee reconciliations, reporting, and creditor payments
  • Ensure compliance with trust account rules, financial regulations, and internal policies
  • Support audits and financial reviews with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimisation to increase efficiency
  • Provide financial support across multiple offices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and contribute to strategic initiatives
Requirements:
  • Prior accounting experience within the legal sector (essential)
  • Knowledge of trust account rules and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with practice management systems or similar
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
