Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of the business finance team, you will provide financial support and solutions to our Energy services line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-End Reporting
    • Assist in providing month-end reporting requirements that meet business needs.
    • Process monthly revenue and cost accruals, including reconciliations where applicable and revenue summaries.
    • Review and analyse business results, providing commentary on variances to budget/forecast/trends.
    • Provide inputs for DSO reporting, highlighting exceptional items.
    • Maintain a monthly inventory snapshot, focusing on stock turnover and ageing.
  • Business Support
    • Identify opportunities to deliver value to individuals and teams within our locations and head office, understanding key productivity drivers and risk factors.
    • Provide high-level customer service to Operations teams and guidance to administrative teams on their business areas.
    • Contribute to the financial aspects of tender submissions managed by Commercial/Operational teams.
    • Support businesses in submitting individual capex requests, including financial returns and contract rates.
    • Work with project teams to establish cost code budgets in Jobpac.
    • Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Group Budgets / Forecasts
    • Deliver annual business unit budgets and maintain forecasting models through consultation with the business, including quarterly reforecasts.
    • Forecast and report on capex-build spend, materials, and labour, working with key individuals to highlight deviations from plan.
